(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) -  A senior Indian scholar in international affairs referred to the meetings of Indian prime minister with Iran's president and the supreme leader and said: "these meetings showed the improving relations of the two countries and are a proof to the consolidation and increase of relations between Iran and India.

He said: "Manmohan Singh's participation in NAM summit reminded to the powers of the world such as America, that India acts on the basis of its interests and would not decrease its relations with Iran even under pressure.

"The meetings of officials of the two countries improve the bilateral relations. These relations are important in settling peace and security across the world and proves to the world that these countries seek to improve their ties", he reiterated.

Indian scholar in international affairs considered Tehran NAM summit as a historical gathering and commented: "the US and Zionist regime pushed hard to dissuade heads of NAM member states not to participate in Tehran summit; however they failed in pursuing their unfair policies, and attendance of more than 120 countries and organizations, including: the UN Chief, India and Egypt proved the unsuccessful of West's attempts to isolate Iran".

He added:"success of Islamic Republic of Iran in hosting NAM summit showed that no country in the world can ignore the importance of I.R. Iran".

"Indian prime minister clarified that this country will never get pushed by the foreign powers", Said Zaaker Hosein.

"Hosting NAM summit in Tehran has provided good opportunities for Iran, and these opportunities must be used to strengthen mutual relations with other NAM member states.", he concluded.
